I was a tutor for 2 years in Korea and I love to see student's improvement. I took AP Microeconomics and Macro Economics in 2007 and I got 5 on both test. I took SAT Subject math2 and I made 780 on the test. I made 2010 out of 2400 on SAT1. I went to Georgia Southern University for a year as joint enrollment program. I graduated Statesboro High School in 2012 and now I’m going to college in New York. I’m going to Clarkson University and I am double major in Global Supply Chain Management and Psychology and minor in Pre-Law. I have substitute taught for over 16 years and this past year I worked with the SES program tutoring. My areas of focus are sciences and maths but I have had to tutor reading. This year I tutored middle school students but I have tutored elementary as well. I tend to focus on the high level maths and sciences often taking long term positions in high school.
I started substitute teaching when I was in undergraduate school just as a source of income and because I like teaching. My mother is a retired teacher who taught for over 30 years. I work as an engineer but I always find time to tutor. I have tutored with an SES program and have found that this worked really well. Focusing on how the children learn as a method to approach how they should be tutored is very effective and the children learn.
