A Little Bit About Me...

I strongly believe in differentiated learning. Each student, with the help of a qualified educator, should discover which learning style (or combination of styles) works best for them. They can then employ techniques to make learning and retention of information learned easier for them. I am a "hands on" teacher...research has proven that we remember what we have physically or manipulatively participated in. I have a great sense of humor, which serves to make learning a fun journey! And when I say journey, I do mean that the trip to the desired end location (tutoring goal) should be fun, exciting, and enjoyable! A Little Bit About Me...

I have a Bachelor's degree in Art and Design and have used my degree in the fields of Photography and Graphic Design. I am currently getting my teaching certificate for Art Education K-12 so that I will be able to pass my passion of Art on to others. In my spare time I enjoy painting along with some figure drawing.
