As a graduate of Mississippi State University, I earned a BS and Master's degrees in Physical Education. I have teaching certificates in Biology, Chemistry, Physical Science, and Technology Applications. I have taught science classes for over forty years. This experience has enabled me to gain an understanding in many areas of math and science. I have a BS degree in Clinical Exercise Physiology and with this degree I have learned about many health problems and what they do to the human body. I also learned about the affects of physical fitness on the human body and I also learned how to develop exercise plan for individuals. While I was in college I mentored with the Starkville, MS Boys and Girls Club and I also was a Asst. Pre School Teacher. When I mentored at the Boys and Girls Club I tutored kids between the ages of 11 and 16. I also teach CPR, AED, and First Health for American Redcross at the correctional facility. I have taught Basic Computers and Stress and Anger Management for the inmate population.
