I was selected to multiple academic competions such as the ABC testing and Quiz and Science bowl I prefer to figure out how the student learns the best personally, whether through just hearing it or being shown examples and anything and everything in-between. After graduating from Mississippi College with a bachelor's in Spanish and a certificate in TESOL, I lived abroad in Peru working for an orphanage. Upon returning to the States, I worked as an ESL and Spanish teacher at both middle school and high school level. When teaching a language, I believe one should not only have the knowledge of the grammar and syntax, but the skills of communication.
