A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught ESL for 17 years to children and adults from all over the world. I have a strong command of language arts and am experienced at teaching literacy, grammar, vocabulary, spelling, essay writing, phonics, pronunciation, etc. I coordinate the after school enrichment program and annual play at Earl LeGette Elementary School. Having finished a financial planning course, I have also recently brushed up on my math skills. All throughout my High School & College experience, I was inspired by Ancient World History. In addition to competing as a collegiate athlete, I have also traveled to Europe twice on educational study abroad programs, which has enabled me to gain a much deeper understanding. My degree contains an emphasis in Language which means I spent considerable time translating Latin and Ancient Greek texts. During the past eight years I have tutored in academics, trained students for their sport and was employed as a summer Instructor in Jr. Lifeguard programs and Aquatic sports programs.
