A Little Bit About Me...

I have taught all core subjects plus art history for over 20 years using various state mandated materials and supplementals I purchased through special ed catalogs. Student outcomes were best with the supplementals due to limited attention span and high interest-low level materials. I use various methods to determine mastery- I create my own written or verbal assessments, writing assignments and have students maintain learning journals. I have just finished junior year of high school and will be a senior this fall. Throughout my life I have always been especially good at math. I never fail to get an A in math every year. In 10th grade I decided to skip Pre-Calculus from Algebra 2 to AP Calculus BC when I enter 11th grade. Interestingly, I still found AP Calculus BC to be relatively easy. I am the vice president of a tutor club at La Costa Canyon High School. I teach students after school all subjects. I also tutored students outside of school.
