While earning my MA in English at California State University, Fresno, I spent two exciting years teaching beginning college writing. I chose to teach the class for students who did not pass the entrance exam for Fresno State because I enjoyed working with the diverse, and primarily ESL, students who populated these classes. A Little Bit About Me...

I stated tutoring privately and through the college when I was a student myself to see if teaching was something I wanted to do as a career. I tutored all my college years and realized that this is exactly what I want to wake up for every day. I earned my BS and single subject in Mathematics from Fresno State University. I have worked with students at all levels. I have tutored students as young as 5th graders and gone through levels of math from basic math to some graduate courses. As a recent graduate from UC Berkeley, I have always held the upmost interest and passion in helping students achieve the best they could. I received my degree in American studies, this degree is designed to allow students to create their own educational path within Berkeley's campus.
