While earning my MA in English at California State University, Fresno, I spent two exciting years teaching beginning college writing. I chose to teach the class for students who did not pass the entrance exam for Fresno State because I enjoyed working with the diverse, and primarily ESL, students who populated these classes. I have over four years experience tutoring students, both at university level and high school level.
