A strength on which I have always prided myself is my ability to relate complex concepts with useful analogies and from different angles. I never underestimate a child's ability to learn something, so long as it's in a way in which they understand it. Curriculum development is also important. By that, I mean the creation of illustrations, tables, lists, acronyms, heuristics, and flash cards to aid a student in their thirst to learn. I have always been driven as a student. I earned my bachelor's degree in only 3 and a half years, and I will begin a terminal degree program this fall when I begin an MFA program at Eastern Washington University. Although I have never been a formal tutor, I feel that I can pick it up rather quickly, as I have been in a teaching role during my time as a personal trainer. A Little Bit About Me...

I have always loved learning and sharing what I have learned. One of my proudest achievements was helping a sixteen year old girl learn long division. I discovered that she was not retarted, but simply had a hand eye coordination problem. (I had her turn the lined paper 90 degrees.)
