My comments on tutoring Speaking : There is a saying that goes like this-Open your mouth so I can see you. How we speak is just as important as what we say. I have helped my students become more comfortable with their speaking, both in English and other languages. I understand the fears of public speaking. I have performed stand-up comedy. I was moderately successful. Several of my business students were complimented on their speaking skills at various conferences they were speakers at. I know I can improve the speaking skills of most people.

I love helping people achieve their dreams and goals and I have high expectations for all children and adults I am teaching. As an educator I encourage my students to believe in themselves and convince them they have the ability to be successful in whatever they want to achieve. One of my students was struggling with C's and D's for grades and he was getting extra help but he was frustrated. Once or twice a week we would chat about it. My experience in tutoring computers for the last 6 years and facilitating study sessions in college for the last 4 years has refined my skills in directing absorption of knowledge in a direction that is organized and on-task. As an avid and trained grammarian and writer, my strengths are in English.
