It's true that every student learns at a different pace with a different style. I like to see myself as a cameleon teacher, catering my format to individual needs. My style tends to be laid back so that students are comfortable expressing their likes and dislikes with me, curbing their fear of not understanding something. I tutored for Learning World Tutoring agency from 1974 through 1986 in all subjects and levels K-12. I have recently applied for my highly qualified endorsement in Middle School Language Arts. I am an author with a published reference book on writing the short story and have had more than 125 stories published as well as hundreds of essays and articles. I was a columnist for 9 years.
