From 1980-2008 I was employed as a Junior High Social Studies teacher in Atlantic City. Presently I am employed as an adjunct instructor at the Atlantic Cape Community College teaching World Religions and Introduction to Philosophy. In addition I serve as a writing tutor. My passion for learning has led me to receive an MA in Education from Beaver College and led me to apply to the MA program in Holocaust/Genocide Studies. I believe each child has their own learning style. Through a variety of approaches and materials each child can find success in reading and math in their elementary school years. I enjoy finding each child's path to success.
I have taught Special Education for 26 years and third grade for 6. I have tutored using the Reading Assist program and various other methods for reading. I also have many techniques for teaching math to young learners. I enjoy working with children one on one or in small groups.
