I don't believe in giving a student the answers to their questions. Rather, I think it is important to help them find the answers themselves--understanding the process will enable them to perform on their own. For example, rather than editing a student's paper, I will go through it line by line and have them help me find the errors.
I have a very strong background in writing. My experience includes my graduate research and thesis, news writing for a tv station, in addition to 6 years of writing for academia. During my training at INSE (Institut National des Sciences de l'Education), University of Lome, I had a two-academic year classroom teaching performance inturnship at Agbalepedo Public High school. Then, from September 1998 to February 2005, I taught French and English at ISTT (Institut des Sciences et Techniques du Tertiaire), a private high school in Sokode. I kept an excellent record of teaching performance till 2005 when I moved to the States.
