I have lived in Mexico and Costa Rica after studying Spanish throughout high school and college. I prefer one on one or a small group no larger than five. I am patient and appreciate questions the student has so that I may better serve them. I have tutored on and off for the past 12 years. I have tutored people from 5th grade to age 50. I have much experience tutoring any type of math up to Algebra II. I have also tutored in Spanish on numerous occasions. I prefer to have materials prepared prior to any tutoring session so communication ahead of time will be essential. If I have an idea of what is expected of me then I am able to help modify the session to fit the learner. I like to use both direct teach as well as discussion to help guide the tutoring session. I have a wide variety of educational experience and have recently crossed over into the realm of education as a Special Education/At-Risk teacher with the Edgerton School District. I was an in-school suspension teacher for two years at Durand High and Middle School, helping students get caught up on their pre-algebra, social studies, science, English and Spanish homework.
