My teaching style is teaching the student how he/she best learns. How to be organized, and to plan ahead for projects, and how to do homework each night. If necessary and if the school's text book system has lessons on the computer, I can bring my own laptop. I am a teacher by degree and have tutored a number of students in how to build their grades. I am bilingual in English and Spanish and have a speciality in Esol. I believe the most important area for a student to learn is to first learn how it is he/she best learns. If the student learns by listening, then we concentrate in that area, if the student has to read and take notes, then we concentrate this area. I have been helping to tutor my daughter who is 17 years old now but has suffered from ADHD most of her life. She has always especially struggled in math which is one of my strongest subjects.
