I recently completed a two-month internship in TAS/OTS in EY this summer. From this experience, I gained valuable knowledge in the advisory area. I participated in a mobile internet App project for a startup technical company. The major goal for the project is to do financial forecasting for the company. In the group, my job was to help create a business plan report and translate from Chinese to English. I also worked on cash flow forecasting. They have various programmed learning booklets teaching all of the major subjects. You are actually more of a tutor than a teacher if you work with these booklets. I started off college at Mohawk Valley Community College and earned a Liberal Arts and Science degree. I feel that all college students should be well rounded and should take a wide variety of courses. I then enrolled at Utica College to finish my BS degree. Over those two years, I took 18 science courses and most of them were accompanied by labs. It was stressful and difficult but it was something I was determined to complete.
