I am a parent to a four year old and a twenty year old stepson, so my teaching and parenting is one filled with patience, toughness but fairness, and lots of humor. I believe that children should talk respectfully, grammatically correct [Student: “Can I go to the bathroom?” Myself: “Well, I don’t know. Do you know how to?’ Student: “I mean, may I go to the bathroom?” Myself: “Yes, of course you may go the bathroom”], and should treat each other with respect too.
