My comments on tutoring Sculpting : Clay, molds, casting, etc.

I have worked as a graphic artist for over 20 years and know my stuff quite well. You can see samples of the work I've done on my website at www.koockaskreations.com. I have been teaching children age 6-10 wood working in an after school program for the past 2 years. I was the art director at camp Newman in 2011, and taught Hebrew school from 1982-1987 in LA, and from 2009-2011 in Fresno. I recently started doing videography and would love to help someone...you? with a video project. In addition to helping children with their school projects, like a 3-D map of Egypt, a pop-up book to illustrate a mathematical equation, posters, etc, I have also tutored several children privately to help them prepare for their bar/bat mitzvot. I am easy going and easy to talk to. I have a great repore with children of all ages, and enjoy helping them learn new things.

Hebrew: Have been working in a Religious School setting off and on since 1982 helping children prepare for their Bar/Bat Mitzvot. I've been Doing private tutoring for the past year. Computer Graphics: Have been using adobe creative suite for close to 20 years, and was a teachers assistant at Fresno city college helping students understand and use the adobe creative suite programs.
Relaxed and creative. I am very patient and open to using whatever style suits the student best. I tend not to be rigid and strict.

Although I have worked mostly in Film and Television since graduating from University, I returned to the University of LaVerne in Athens, Greece in 2004 to tutor foreign students in essay writing and to help hem with their entrance exams. I worked there part-time (3 days a week) for 2 years. I continued tutoring 2 students privately for another year. In 2009 I tutored after-school English at DeAnza Middle School in Ventura for approximately 6 months.
I am a very caring teacher. I love to use humor and encouragement in the hopes that the students will feel inspired to continue and flourish in their writing, even after our time together is over. I believe in children and their ability to acheive anything, and try to relay that message to them in a fun and patient way.
