Reading is the Key to Success!

I have worked in the field of education as a teacher for 30 years. I have taught basic skills in foundations of Reading to middle school students. It takes a trained professional to be able to lay out the framework children need to learn how to read. A Little Bit About Me...

I have found that any student can learn. The key to a student's success is that education must be approached in the correct manner for that individual student. Not all students learn in the same fashion, and that must be considered in planning and implementing lessons. I believe that education needs to be approached in a fun way that coincides with the student's individual interests and learning styles. If the student loves sports, I would find innovative ways to include that in my tutoring so that he/she would stay focused and retain information.
