American History is one of my top subjects! I have lived in many historical places throughout the USA and am a huge history buff. I am a certified teacher in German and have my Masters in Secondary Education. I have taken over 30 credits in history including American History through film. I have lived in Gettysburg PA for three years and Richmond area in Virginia for two.

Since 2008, I have been a teacher and just relocated from teaching German at a high school in Pennsylvania to beautiful Sarasota. I do have my Pennsylvania Professional Teaching Certificate and am getting my Florida one. I love to teach and enjoying inspiring others to learn more about the world around them. I have lived in Germany and am fluent in German. I also am a huge history buff and have traveled to over 20 countries.
My teaching style is student centered. I will adapt the information according to the type of learner you are. I understand that no two students learn the same way. Took three years of college courses on Psychology at Ashford University, trained with a Computer Troubleshooting Specialist for four years, have two books of my own written word poetry published. In my time at Ashford I picked plenty of shareable skills, study skills, time management, and using my keyboard to it's fullest potential to meet deadlines. While training with the Computer Troubleshooter, I learned more about how to use software and typing/keyboard shortcuts to utilize computers to their full potential. A Little Bit About Me...

My career in education began thirteen years ago. I started by volunteering in my son's classes as well as in the library.
