My comments on tutoring Social Studies : I am a teacher and in my free time I travel to historical significant destinations. My students have named me the female Indiana Jones. I have been to the Roman Ruins in Trier Germany to Mayan Ruins in Mexico. I also have spent time with the Navajo and Lakota tribes out west.

My teaching style is student centered. I will adapt the information according to the type of learner you are. I understand that no two students learn the same way. I create scaffolding lessons and activities focused on differentiated learning styles from hands-on learner to visual learner. My goal is to promote student learning, achievement, and success.
Since 2008, I have been a teacher and just relocated from teaching German at a high school in Pennsylvania to beautiful Sarasota. As a student at the University of South Florida, I was required to complete three levels of internships. In my last internship, I was in complete charge of the class. I used assessments to plan my lessons, seeing if I could go on to the next lesson or needed to review.
