A Little Bit About Me...

I am patient, have a good sense of humor, and strive to help students achieve to their ability. I have great faith in children's ability to develop proficiency in any content as long as they have adequate support. One size does not fit all in education and I use differentiation and different teaching modalities, with a lot of realia and manipulatives, to meet the students' learning styles and preferences, and the content area. I rely on colleagues for assistance when I am unable to fully help a child.
As an Adult Education teacher I taught learners from High School age through 70 year-olds. I taught office occupations; ESL; and GED, ABS, HS diploma and citizenship.
