My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : Lover of Shakespeare

I am an Honors Graduate from California State University Stanislaus and I am knowledgeable on many subjects. I have had former experience in tutoring and I am more than willing to work with students of any age. I am proficient in English, Social Science, Study Skills, and many other areas. As an avid reader and excellent writer I am able to work with students on their writing skills at any level.
I am a hard worker and expect a similar attitude from the students I tutor. I tend to work out the problem for the student on one problem and then I watch as they go through a similar one to ensure they have understood. This repetative practice has proven efficient. I also tend to make the student practice more than the required assignments needed to be accomplished to ensure a firm grasp of the material.

I have more than three decades of experience managing and working in marketing, PR, communications, the web, and media relations. I absolutely love anything English--Literature, writing, reading, and yes, even grammar--but more importantly, I love working with children, teens, and adults to help them achieve a better understanding of the English discipline. During my time at Cal State Stanislaus, where I earned my bachelor's degree in English, I was selected to tutor other students because of my mastery of grammar and writing. I spent two years working for the University's Writing Center. I tutored ESL students and Freshmen on how best to improve their essay writing skills in either one-on-one or group sessions. I've tutored grammar, MLA and APA formatting, reading, writing, philosophy, and test-taking skills.
