My comments on tutoring Shakespeare : Lover of Shakespeare

I am a hard worker and expect a similar attitude from the students I tutor. I tend to work out the problem for the student on one problem and then I watch as they go through a similar one to ensure they have understood. This repetative practice has proven efficient. I also tend to make the student practice more than the required assignments needed to be accomplished to ensure a firm grasp of the material.
I am an Honors Graduate from California State University Stanislaus and I am knowledgeable on many subjects. I have had former experience in tutoring and I am more than willing to work with students of any age. I am proficient in English, Social Science, Study Skills, and many other areas. As an avid reader and excellent writer I am able to work with students on their writing skills at any level.

What I like about helping people learn more and do better in communicating and expressing themselves is that it gives me a chance to "give back" all that I know in a special way. I teach people how to do things through a method of "learning by doing" with practical (and many times personal experience) exercises. A Little Bit About Me...

I recently graduated Summa Cum Laude with a Bachelor's in English, and I am currently working on obtaining my Master's degree in English. Although my focus is in Literature, I have a vast knowledge of writing and composition, creative writing, and English grammar. During my undergraduate studies, I was a member of the Provost Honors program. For the two years I was in that program, I worked extensively on the research and writing of a 30-page Honors thesis, which I presented at the college's annual Honors Thesis Conference.
