School can be tough, but life without school is tougher!

I am a high school graduate. I am looking at furthering my schooling in art. I love children and the honesty about them. I feel as if someone teaching or learning by someone their own age can make a big difference. I have been a student mentor for many teenagers and younger children not only through school but through Facebook. As an aerospace engineering student at Embry-Riddle, mathematics comes quite easily to me. I enjoy solving and creating mathematical problems. At Embry-Riddle I quickly became known as the "go to" guy for all math related questions. Within the first two weeks of the first semester I was leading a Calculus 2 study group and retained my position as such until the end of the semester. While the study group dwindled in size for Calculus 3 I did still lead the group.

A Little Bit About Me...

In high school I worked closely with non-English speakers. I tutored them in the subject of reading and writing English. I have also helped tutor in a a college setting. I helped tutor composition students with English being their second language.
I love teaching with children of all ages. Being from a background where English was hard to come by, I am very passionate in teaching/tutoring. My goal is to give the child a strong foundation of the English language.
