I then completed my Bachelors of Science Degree in Biology at Valdosta State University. My technique in teaching navigation was to expose the student to the underlying physics of dead reaconing and celestial object movement. Then we would put the theory into practice in the air. I strove to always give positive feedback and encouragement.
I have been driven to excel in college and in my career in logistics. I've graduated from two of the top universities in the US, and retired from the USAF as a Major. A Little Bit About Me...

Although I have retired from teaching full-time, I still have a desire to help students to learn on a one-on-one basis. I have extensive academic and teaching experience. My ability to explain new concepts in ways that students can understand them is one of my strongest points.
After over 20 years of teaching, elementary (3), middle school (15) and adults (2), I have learned to use a variety of teaching techniques to assist students in understanding most science and social science concepts. I love to see kids learning a second language. I realise today in the states there is such much more job opporuntities when you have a second language. I make my own classroom a fun learning experience. I try to make fun sayings and even songs so the kids can relate to the words or sentences I am trying to teach them. I like to tell my own personal experiences of my life growing up in a country that speaks Spanish. I do a lot of group work so the kids can engage with one another to also help them learn off of each other. I believe when you make teaching a fun learning tool that kids will retain and hold onto it.
