A Little Bit About Me...

I am a euthastic teacher, I love to teach and learn and my taching style incorporates Gardner's multiple intelligences and Bloom's Taxomomy. I have also taken several Special Education classes, so my leason are adaptive and flexible, using different medium to convey information. Every student learns differently and I try to do my best to learn and apply my education to help in the learning process. I am very enegeric in the classroom, and use a storytelling approach with metaphors and modern euphuisms to keep my students attention. I have a passion for teaching people things that I love to do. I love to write, to analyze literature, and to solve problems. I bring energy and patience to the learning experience, and I am able to explain concepts in more than one way. All people, children and adults, learn in unique ways. I have recently graduated from Purchase College with an Undergraduate degree in Music with a minor in English. During School I tutored students in English composition and edited students essays and papers during the entirety of my undergraduate education. I have also taught voice and music theory to students privately. In High-school I scored a 97 percent out of 100 on the English regents exam. I recently received a full scholarship to complete my masters at the University of Maryland.
I will fit my teaching to the client. If a student learns with visuals, I will use visuals. If a student is an aural learner, I will cater to that side.
