Sharing what I’ve learned about writing has been the most gratifying aspect of my work over all these years. I am currently a medical student at the University of Minnesota Medical School Duluth. Before I started medical school I worked as a tutor for six years with two teenage boys with autism. Under the six years of my tutoring, both of these "disabled" kids were completely mainstreamed and even taking some AP and challenge classes. I enjoy working with children. My volunteering experience with children at Grant Elementary gave me opportunity to realize how much I enjoy teaching. I believe that any child can meet his or her potential if he or she is given proper direct approach. I am also a mother of fourteen-year-old, eight-year-old, and one-year-old. I have taught Spanish at the middle and high school level for six years.
