Experience Summary
I have taught Spanish at the middle and high school level for six years. Since I started teaching in the district where I currently work, the Spanish program has flourished, and requests for my classes exceed the space we have available for students. Students want to take my class because of my highly effective teaching style, which I described previously. I also have a year of experience tutoring various subjects a tthe middle and high school level. I have helped kids in Math, Science, English, and REading.
Teaching Style
As a teacher, I do my best to create fun lessons that are both challenging and thought-provoking. I like for my students to learn to use the language without really even trying, so I create activities in which they use the vocabulary and grammar that we have just studied in little bits. In this way, they are able to master each topic with ease and feel pround of themselves for doing so. I am best known for my positivity, kindness, and my ability to explain a topic well.
I treat all students with kindness and respect. I smile a lot, and I have patience with all types of learners. Through working with me, your child's grades and self-confidence will improve.
