My teaching style has been formulated since I was in college as a Teaching Assistant. I have found that although by following some examples to solve one or two problems may be a quick way to achieve a short term success, however, the students would forget them quickly and when the situations have some minor changes, they may not be able to solve the problem by themselves again. The procedure I follow in tutoring is to first attack is to find out where any understanding difficulty lies. Then, I write the rules out.
