A Little Bit About Me...

What I like about helping people learn more and do better in communicating and expressing themselves is that it gives me a chance to "give back" all that I know in a special way. I teach people how to do things through a method of "learning by doing" with practical (and many times personal experience) exercises. Writing and communicating is a craft that anyone can do if they understand how to "map out" their thoughts and ideas in an outline and then "build from there" filling in the gaps.
I have more than three decades of experience managing and working in marketing, PR, communications, the web, and media relations. At the University of California-Berkeley, I have pursued my academic interests and personal convictions through a variety of study, work and volunteer experiences. As a student, I have developed strong research, writing and study skills. I have earned two bachelor's degrees in English Literature and Legal Studies and received honor's in Legal Studies after completion of a ninety page research paper.
