People are always surprised when they find out I'm a math nerd. I'm outgoing, I like to joke and I play sports. Because each student, young or old, responds to different learning stimuli (graphical or verbal) at diffrent rates, I always try to get to know my student first. I then try to tailor my tutoring to how they respond best and retain what they've learned.
