I love making lessons fun and interactive for children. If a children does not understand a concept one way I find other ways to explain it.
When I was in elementary school I would help my mother with daycare at our home. I would teach the children new concepts and play with them. During high school I joined the pathfinder club and taught some of the younger children. During college, I tutored elementary children in reading and in math and would make interventions for them. I graduated from Southern Adventist University December 2018 with a bachelors in elementary education. Through the Teaching Academy I was in I learned all of the different the different teaching styles and how to teach them. I personally like the student to have structure but I understand they are young and need a little patience and time and with help and practice they will get it!
