My culmination of experiences over the past twenty years has allowed me to acquire a vast array of knowledge and experiences. As a school counselor, academic, vocational, social, and personal development were the key areas of focus. These unique experiences were facilitated through classroom activities, individual and small group counseling, and consultation with parents, staff, and community resources. As a special education teacher, I am highly motivated to see all students succeed both inside and outside of the classroom setting. I have earned a bachelor degree in Political Science with a minor in History and a master's degree in both Elementary and Special Education. I am currently finishing my certification in working with English Language Learners and receiving my ESL endorsement. I have worked extensively in the core classes in a high school setting but have worked and trained with all subjects in elementary and secondary settings.
