I like children to get up and move and learn. All students learn differently and it is up to me to learn what it is and then use that to help them learn. All through college I Tutored children at-risk and/or having a disability. I determined individual needs and apply a variety of methods to help children learn. As a first grade teaching after school I tutor first grader with reading and math. I like children to learn in a fun way. Students need to get up and learn. Before moving to Tucson, I found myself helping other students, sometimes elementary and sometimes high school or junior high. It became clear to them that most of my peers didn't understanding the lectures or in class notes that were provided. In fact, most of the examples never matched the tests that were given.
