I have plenty that i've been tought so maybe using some of them could help the students understand better.
I am only 19 and i graduated class of 2011. I've had a lot of help when i was in school so i know it can be stressful and tough but i found it a lot easier when i got help from people. Kids may be shy or maybe they just find the work is to hard and there scared to get help but i'm easy and outgoing i don't force kids to do there work. It takes time for them to understand how to work things out how to talk to teachers.

I am a retired Electrical/Software Engineer. My formal education and work and life experiences provide me with a good background in math and science. I have raised three children that occasionally needed a little help with their work and have been a sports coach for various elementary level town and school teams in Fairfield.
I have three sons and have coached students in various sporting activities so I'm no stranger with working with kids. As I stated above though I don't have any professional experience and therefore it would be difficult to describe a teaching style. I have cultivated strong writing and analytical skills in my college career at UConn. I took a variety of classes that requried me to articulate myself through research papers, poems, lab reports, and speeches. While at UConn I volunteered with a local congregation helping non English speaking individuals learn how to speak conversational English.

I understand that children (and adults) have differennt learning styles and try to tailor my approach to the specific needs of the student.
