I am only 19 and i graduated class of 2011. I've had a lot of help when i was in school so i know it can be stressful and tough but i found it a lot easier when i got help from people. Kids may be shy or maybe they just find the work is to hard and there scared to get help but i'm easy and outgoing i don't force kids to do there work. It takes time for them to understand how to work things out how to talk to teachers.
I have plenty that i've been tought so maybe using some of them could help the students understand better.

While at UConn I volunteered with a local congregation helping non English speaking individuals learn how to speak conversational English.
I think that relating a particular subject to a student is the best way to spark their interest and draw them in as learners. I have been working as a Special Education Teaching Assistant for the past 5 years. A good portion of my job is working one on one with children outside of the classroom. I have experience in a variety of subjects from the elementary level up to the high school grades.
