All students can learn. Some just need a little more practice until they can consistently perform the task without assistance. I assist in teaching at Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. I have been supporting student’s academics for over 8 years. My experience with students expands from pre-kindergarten to the 8th grade. Helping children work through learning issues is my passion.

I have 22 years experience teaching public education k-6. I began my career as a special education teacher and then moved into regular education classrooms. I now tutor children from the Zoom platform since I cannot see them in my office due to the pandemic. I have been doing private tutoring for 2 years.
When working from my office, I like to use hands on activities that keep children engaged.
