A Little Bit About Me...

I have more than 5 years experience as a substitute teacher at almost every level. I have had the opportunity to also serve as a long term substitute teacher. I also have 1 year of experience teaching at a pre-school level, 2.5 years teaching at a post-secondary level, and a semester of tutoring a middle school student. I have also taken course work in Differentiated Instruction. All of these experiences have given me the skills needed to be a successful teacher. Having grown up with a family of educators, there was never any doubt I would become a teacher. I hold a MS degree in Educational Administration and a BS degree in English and have taught 26 years of high school, primarily seniors. In addition to classroom teaching, I have taught numerous ACT prep classes evenings and was a tutor for Sylvan Learning Center.
