I have worked as a tutor for 10 years in all subjects, especially focusing on ESL learners. Recently, I have worked in an ESL school (FLS International) with university age students seeking to matriculate into American Universities. Before that, I worked in South Korea teaching English. While employed at these schools, I also work part-time as a tutor- mostly for middle and high school age students. Many of my students struggle with time management, and this is a main focus in my tutoring sessions.

A Little Bit About Me...

In my opinion there’s never a dull moment when it comes to science and math. I am severely enthused when it comes to particular subjects that I love. And I am well open to share it with people that are interested. Even though you find yourself disliking the subject because it is “hard” or for whatever reason, I can make the subject engaging. I like to engage the students into the subject by not just helping them by memorizing protocols, but enabling them to understand the situation. I have taught fine art at a private school in Salinas. I have also been teaching martial arts and self-defense for over 10 years. Teaching can be a most wonderful adventure. I believe every child can learn. At times students or overwhelming with new concepts, and they need to be encouraged, and praise until they can accomplish the task at hand. I enjoy seeing the appearence of awareness on a childs face, when they have accomplished a goal, or solved a problem they had difficulty solving.
