I believe students will always be frustrated till they learn the material and if you make it interesting and related to them personally it tends to elivate the frustration and to feel more comfortable with the material. I am presently looking at obtaining my teaching certificate to teach elementary school at one point and time. My father's family is spanish so I speak a some. I am not fully fluent.
I have always had an interest in teaching. I graduated from college with my AA while working with the University of Michigan Department of Hospital Finance Training. Throughout my life I have been tutoring and teaching my peers. In elementary through high school, teachers would ask me to take time to explain one-on-one the coursework with my classmates. In college I naturally became the go-to person for help with coursework. My official experience, however, did not come until I was in graduate school. There I taught laboratory sections in animal and dairy science as well as tutored my classmates after hours. There is nothing that I enjoy more than figuring out how to convey information in such a way that my pupil will begin to really understand what they are doing and even be able to explain it back to me. Although I have approximately two years of official teaching experience, it has been a lifelong endeavor for me and one that I hope to continue to pursue.

A Little Bit About Me...

I have tutored many years in Calif., but have not done so since arriving in Madison, TN. I have Canadian credentials, but the JD enabled me to quickly acquire a college position in Nashville. I taught English, which is my major from the University of Western Ontario, Canada. I know I am an excellent tutor, having taken several children from D's & F's to B's and A's.
