Learning is the chance to discover the wonder and wisdom of the world. My aim is not simply to help people learn; I want to help people love to learn and love what they're learning about. If I can nurture a passion in their minds and spirits, they will continue to learn when we are no longer together. My curious mind grows my understanding to become deep and wide, making it easy for me to explain the same idea in a variety of ways. My personality is joyful, energetic, and encouraging.
The variety of my experience gives me a wonderfully personal approach to each student. I have taught Sunday School to all ages of elementary students and have also helped young children appreciate the wonder of learning as I taught them kindergarten basics. More About This Tutor...

I have earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Miami University in history. I currently am enrolled at University of Tennessee at Chattanooga to obtain a Masters Degree in Education with a license to teach in the state of Tennessee in the middle grades. I have worked as a nanny during undergraduate for a couple different families. I have also worked through the YMCA as an after school teacher where I helped students K-6 with their homework. After graduating with a BA is History, I have worked as a Pre-Kindergarten Teacher, a Kindergarten Substitute Teacher, and an after school teacher for children 4 years through kindergarten.
I enjoy working with children, however, I don't feel I have one teaching style. I like to be able to adapt to how the children learn the best. My favorite teaching style is hands on activities such as experiments and crafts. I take pride in my creativity.
