Applying the proper "learning process map" is essential for a student's success in learning and retaining information related to any subject: 1. Understand the application of a problem being presented to the student. 2. Apply and retain a simple set of steps required to solve the problem. This is essential to the students learning success. Many students first attempt to focus on a single problem without an understanding that the basic steps to solving the problem are the same. 3.
