Graduating from three different institutions, I have earned two master and a bachelor degrees – MS in Biology and MA in Special Education, and BA in Biology. Math and Science have my main strengths in earning the degrees. Being deaf since birth, I have learned a lot about deaf people – especially children with their delayed language and math skills. I want to give something back of what I have excelled in education. Many people and children deserve the education and help they need in order to make progress in math. Currently, I am a part time chemistry instructor at Clark college and Portland Community College. During the past seven years, I have tutored chemistry to a diversified students ranging from high school chemistry to pre-med students. I recently obtained my MS degree in chemistry. Most of my students succeed in chemistry. I love teaching chemistry. I have a unique way of teaching chemistry by explaining the basic concepts of chemistry. I have had experience in tutoring mathematics at local community colleges. I have also tutored chemistry, physics and many medical subjects informally. I have finished classwork in a medical program and have assisted with many classes, mostly in physiology related courses. I enjoy tutoring, especially with motivated people.
