I have worked with the LAUSD district, at Granada Hills Elementary School, as an Instructional AID. This position required me to work with students hands on, either in groups or one-on-one. I helped students who were either falling behind on subjects or were having trouble finishing assignments. I also worked with groups of students helping them improve writing composition or comprehension skills. I also had students who were new to the country,with little English.
