As a graduate of Bowling Green State University's Master of Education program, I have always had a passion for working with students in both a school and counseling setting. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology and Sociology, which enabled me gain employment as a Crisis Hotline Phone Attendant and a Behavioral Specialist in a Children's Home for troubled and at risk youth. In addition to completing the Masters program, I also earned my school counseling license. I have also tutored for Jonas Education Project, LLC. for a year, helping students improve skills in reading and math as well as helping with other homework. I had a long term substitute job at Shoreland Elementary working with grades K-5 on strengthening reading and math skills. Education is a very important matter to me and always has been.
