History and English: NOT BORING! RELEVANT!!

As a recent graduate of the University of Oregon History Department, I have spent the last two years working with peers to enhance their ability to research, comprehend, and explain historical events through writing. This experience includes courses in Grammar and Literature as well as History of both the U.S. and the world. With a string of A-grades at the 400-level, I believe I am now prepared to help others find similar success by following some simple advice and encouragement.

For as long as I can remember, I’ve been interested in the written word. While pursuing further understanding of a wide range of literature, I earned a BA degree in English literature while maintaining a focus in Philosophy, a core element to critical thinking. Throughout my student life, I combined the grammatical and structural skills necessary to form clear, concise arguments for research papers with the craft of fiction writing to mutually bolster each other in kind.
