Writing Skills Tutors & Teachers for Lessons, Instruction or Help in Three Rivers, CA

I like to break things down into baby steps. However, my teaching style will change according to how each student learns the easiest. I am hoping to tutor students from k-8th grade because I know I have more than enough qualification to help them succeed. Plus, I have worked as a bible studies and piano teacher at my church with students in that range. I also have enough tutoring and academic experience to be able to tutor these students. For ~3 years I was a tutor for students learning English as a second language (for I speak English and Spanish) at Reedley College. I helped them with basic reading, writing, pronunciation, grammar, etc., much like what students within k-8th grade learn. Furthermore, I acquired a well rounded education by earning an Associates in General Studies, and this helped me become knowledgeable in a wide array of subjects. I prefer teaching/tutoring in a way that I actually draw the answer out of the student, whether immediate or prolonged. Another method I frequently employ is actually having the student "teach" step by step the process in solving any particular question, in which I have received quite a bit of positive feedback on. If I do come across a question either I don't understand or can not answer at that time, I do not hesitate to seek assistance, thus showing that it doesn't have to be embarrassing to look to another for help. I have known that teaching is my calling since I was a Freshman in high school. Learning how everything works has always facinated me and sharing that has been equally rewarding. I believe that learning can be fun when it is relevant and interactive. Students have to be given a vested interest in the learning process, asked questions. An environment of trust in which student's inquiry is encouraged is the best way of learning. Moreover, I thing that teachers have to use complementing mediums for teaching (ie.
