I started tutoring in the Mid 1970's, tutoring Chemistry to CSULA Nursing students. Then I realized i could also tutor Math, since I took many Math classes in my Chemistry and Computer Science curricula. I have encountered a diverse range of students allowing me to hone my craft.
The interesting part was that I was forced to be creative, since not everyone can learn from the same analogies and techniques. To earn a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University Of Notre Dame, I had to be a Renaissance class-taker. Math, Science, and foreign language were all required for anyone to graduate. My major was Film, Television, and Theater, but many Literature and History classes were also all required. Writing is my strength, as I wrote and directed the school's biggest comedy show and ran the school's comedy newspaper.
