I like to accommodate to a child's personality and likes to help them to learn through distinct processes. When given the opportunity in the correct manner, children can learn most of what is put in front of them. Since a child, I have always been curious of the world around me. My interests culminated with the completion of two degrees in the natural sciences. I consider myself a true inter-disciplinarian, supplementing both my degrees with courses in applied sciences, economics and the arts, to improve my understanding of the connections between science and the world. I strive to show students how the subject matter is relevant to them and help them see the benefit derived from mastering a subject area. I am currently a PhD candidate in Ecology at the University of Tennessee Knoxville.
